Induced insomnia

I thought that my sensory deprivation experiment would lead to me getting some more sleep, but it has not proven to be so. I still find myself staying busy until the wee hours of the morning, not remotely touched by sleepiness, while the daylight hours find me dragging myself through my required activities. Tonight, I've been so preoccupied by my music project that yet again I find myself awake well beyond a reasonable bedtime. Ah well, at least I don't have to work tomorrow - for a change. And something's distracting me from politics - for a change. But my mind and heart still dwell in another place....
